Building Rental
CVUU is ideal for your next event. We can accommodate weddings, conferences, meetings, parties, birthdays, anniversaries, memorials, concerts, movie showings, and more.
We have wireless internet, religious symbols are removed upon request, and red wine may be served at functions. Our building is located at 596 East 900 North, Logan, Utah.
Below you will find rental rates, an application form, and contact information.
CVUU Building Use Rental Rates
Official CVUU Events:
- Agreement form: Building use application is not required, but notification of Building Use Manager is required to schedule the event.
- Rental fee: No rental fee.
- Security deposit: No security deposit required.
Unofficial Events Sponsored by CVUU Member:
- Agreement form: Building use application is required, and approval by CVUU Building Use Manager is required to schedule the event.
- Rental fee: Rental fees depend on the size and nature of the event:
- Small group events (up to 20 people)
- Kitchen and main room only: $25.00 per event
- All areas (including yard): $50.00 per event
- Large group events (20+ people)
- Kitchen and main room only: $50.00 per event
- All areas (including yard): $100.00 per event
- Other events - rate negotiated with building use manager.
- Security deposit: No security deposit required. CVUU sponsor is responsible to ensure clean-up and lock-up procedures are followed.
All Other Events:
- Agreement form: Building use application is required, and approval by CVUU Board is required to schedule the event.
- Rental fee: Rental fees depend on the size and nature of the event:
- Small group events (up to 20 people)
- Kitchen and main room only: $50.00 per event
- All areas (including yard): $100.00 per event
- Large group events (20+ people)
- Kitchen and main room only: $100.00 per event
- All areas (including yard): $200.00 per event
- Other events - rate negotiated with building use manager.
- Security deposit: A $100.00 security deposit is required. Security deposit will be refunded within 2 weeks if all policies and procedures are followed, no damage is found, and the building is clean.
Requests for regular or recurring use of the building, and special requests to reduce or waive building fees or to negotiate in-kind services in lieu of payment can be negotiated with the CVUU Building Use Manager with approval by the CVUU Board.
Building Use Application Form
The Cache Valley Unitarian Universalist (CVUU) congregation makes its building available for one-time or recurring events that are consistent with our mission, that help strengthen our Cache Valley community, or that provide support for the congregation's projects. CVUU reserves the right to refuse rental to any and all parties, organizations or individuals. There are three types of events that can be scheduled:
- CVUU Events: To schedule the building for official CVUU events, please write your event on the calendar at church and contact the building use manager to confirm the schedule.
- CVUU-Member Sponsored Events: If a CVUU member in good standing wishes to sponsor groups to use the building for other types of events, include the CVUU contact information below.
- Non-CVUU Sponsored Events: Our building can be scheduled by non-CVUU groups for one-time or regularly scheduled events. These events require a pre-paid rental fee, security deposit, and prior approval by the building use manager and CVUU board. To request the use of the building for these types of events, fill out sections B and C below.

Important Note: When contacting our office about a rental reservation, please give us as much information as possible when you inquire so that we can advise you quickly. Please include the following in your e-mail or phone message:
- your name
- your organization (if applicable)
- a phone number where we can reach you (please speak slowly and clearly here)
- the kind of event (wedding, memorial service, workshop, meeting, etc.)
- the number of people attending
- the date of your event, and any possible alternate dates
- the start and end times of your event
- the specific room you are interested in, if you know
- will you will need to use our kitchen for reheating or holding food or serving? Food may not be cooked in our kitchen, but warming is allowed.
- will you need to use a piano or sound system?
- who will perform the set up and clean up?
